Hi! 👋🏽 I'm Varad, a recent grad from BITS Pilani in India. A bit about me:

• I'm deeply drawn to technology and business. My curiosity led me to explore India's startup ecosystem—in my current role in strategy and operations at Headout, I'm involved with initiatives to build internal tools that reduce the time to take an experience live by automating several aspects of writing product content, QA, managing media assets, etc. by leveraging large language models (LLMs). I've previously had the opportunity via internships to dabble in product management at Mosaic Wellness and sharpen my understanding of how data informs product and business decisions at Udaan.

• I've pursued short stints in venture capital at General Catalyst India, and in impact investing at Yunus Social Business (having been inspired by Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus' work to use micro-credit as a means to alleviate poverty in Bangladesh).

• At BITS Pilani, I led the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (the entrepreneurship club) as President and also contributed towards 'Conquest' (a startup accelerator in India conceptualized and run by students). Startups supported by Conquest are worth $500M+ today and have caught the attention of leading investors. These have been transformative experiences—allowing me to push my boundaries, go beyond the confines of the classroom, and channel my passion for entrepreneurship toward making real-world impact!
